A 100-year-old Manly pub is set for a $7 million overhaul that will create an extra 50 jobs.

The revamped Manly Hotel, which has been in the hands of The Endeavour Group since 2021, will feature 54 taps and five bars.

Endeavour has more than 330 venues across Australia and owns brands including BWS, ALH Hotels, Dan Murphy’s and more.

Renovations started in March 2023 and are expected to be completed in the coming months.
Patrons will be able to enjoy a full-service restaurant with an a la carte menu, terrace dining, a courtyard, sports bar, more than 20 rooms of accommodation, a gaming room and a bottle shop.

“I’ve been here and managed other venues in the bayside area and this venue has such a community following and is really the heart of the community,” Manly Hotel venue manager Antoinette Simic said of giving the community something it can be proud of.

“Everyone has been all over our social media (during the renovations) and customers are really invested in the venue being successful.

“There’s a huge interest in what we’re doing and where we’re going, it’s been an overwhelming response.

“It’s almost like a buzz and energy within the community that Manly is getting that attention.”
Davis said the vision was to make the community feel part of the historic venue.
