Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg surprises Gold Coast fans at Wahlburgers
Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg recently made a surprise visit to his Wahlburgers restaurant on the Gold Coast.
The 53-year-old star delighted fans with a surprise visit to his diner as he took a break from filming his new movie Balls Up directed by Dumb and Dumber and Something About Mary director Peter Farrelly.
“I am here at Wahlburgers in Surfers Paradise, voted number one sexiest Wahlburgers in the world, right here on the Gold Coast. You can see why,” Wahlberg told his fans.
Wahlberg met staff and customers as he entered the restaurant and posed for photos, enjoying his time with the Gold Coast locals.
The burger joint was founded by Mark and his brothers Paul and Donnie Wahlberg in America in 2011.
Fans couldn’t wait to take to social media to share their excitement.
“It's probably the best location in Surfers Paradise,' one fan wrote.
Another said: “My fave person and destination.”
This is the second movie Wahlburg has filmed in Australia in recent years, with action thriller called Play Dirty soon to be released.
