Luxury hotel voco Gosford to open in 2025 as part of $375M Archibald by ALAND project

NSW Premier Chris Minns celebrated a significant milestone in the Central Coast's revitalisation, attending the official topping-out of the $375 million Archibald by ALAND project.

The Archibald precinct is slated to open later this year and is billed as introducing a new era of luxury and leisure to the region.

A centrepiece of the development is voco Gosford, the first new-build hotel to grace the Central Coast in over 15 years. This upscale accommodation is expected to open in mid-2025 and will offer 327 high-end apartments and a variety of hospitality venues, including the region's highest rooftop bar.

Located in the heart of Gosford, between Newcastle and Sydney, voco Gosford will offer travellers a blend of relaxation, work, and adventure. Stunning beaches, national parks, and the Gosford foreshore are right at its doorstep.

Andrew Hrsto, founder and director of ALAND is enthusiastic about the project, stating that the launch of voco Gosford will mark a new era of sophistication for the Central Coast region.

“This is the first time since 2007 that a major new-build hotel has opened on the Central Coast and as part of the $375 million Archibald by ALAND mix-use development, it’s going to change the face of the city,” Hrsto said.

“We’re thrilled to be working with IHG to bring the seventh voco hotel in Australasia, and the second regional NSW voco property, to the Central Coast. This is our first development in the region as well as our first hotel project which marks a significant milestone not just for us, but for the region.”

The 130-guest-room hotel is inspired by its surrounding area: interiors feature a soothing palette of aqua blues, earthy ochres, eucalyptus greens, and sunshine yellow.

Voco Gosford offers six unique dining venues, including a modern Australian-style gastro-pub, a signature restaurant led by renowned Sydney chef Dany Karam, a swim-up pool bar, and the Central Coast's only rooftop bar with views of Brisbane Water."
