2013 CEO CookOff

The CEO CookOff is a bold and exciting initiative of Qantas and OzHarvest. The event highlights the challenges facing Australians in need in the areas of food security and homelessness and gives participants an extraordinary opportunity to challenge their culinary skills, network and have a great time whilst giving back to the community.
The CEO CookOff is a bold and exciting initiative of Qantas and OzHarvest. The event highlights the challenges facing Australians in need in the areas of food security, homelessness and youth in crisis and gives participants an extraordinary opportunity to challenge their culinary skills, network and have a great time whilst giving back to the community.

On Monday, 11 February Qantas and OzHarvest will host the 2013 CEO CookOff and feed approximately 1000 people in need.

At the inaugural event in February 2012 we raised almost $1m, proving that human kindness, generosity and a passion to help those in need is well and truly alive in our business community.   IN 2013 WE'RE AIMING FOR $2,000,000.

Our CEOs will be grouped into teams and paired with celebrated chefs from Australia's top kitchens.  Each CookOff team will prepare a meal and experience a first-hand connection with those in need by serving food and enjoying a meal together with our guests.

As a participant you are encouraged to entertain healthy competition in fundraising for the cause by getting sponsorship from colleagues, friends and family.  Proceeds will be shared between OzHarvest, The Big Issue and ONE80TC.

The inaugural 2012 CEO CookOff took place on Monday 6th February, 2012 in front of the beautiful St. Mary's Cathedral. The event was a huge success – bringing together over 130 CEOs and business leaders from around Australia and 30 Celebrity Chefs from Australia's top kitchens to cook for over 800 Australians doing it tough.
