Australians get to bake in Italy
The Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has announced the 10th SIAB International Techno-Bake Exhibition held in Verona, Italy, on May 25-29. The Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Australia is the official representative office of SIAB organisers Veronafiere, and will assist Australian delegates wanting to participate at the exhibition.
A triennial event, SIAB is dedicated to technologies, raw materials, and semi-finished products for bread, confectionary, pastry, pasta and pizza. It will also diversify into new and innovative aspects of the baking industry.
SIAB is an ideal forum for bakers, pasta and pizza makers, hospitality operators and distributors to exchange ideas.
The organisers describe SIAB as an ideal forum for bakers, pasta and pizza makers, hospitality operators and distributors to exchange ideas and interact with delegates from Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Latin America. SIAB is also a reference point for technological updates and business development in a wide range of baking sectors.
As a launching pad for new products, SIAB allows its audience of appreciative, informed members in the baking industry the opportunity
to gain first-hand insight into the direction the industry is taking.
SIAB’s previous edition in 2010 saw the registration of more than 38,000 international visitors and around 400 exhibitors from eight
different countries: figures that reveal the growing influence of the event in Italy and the world. The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Australia can provide complimentary entrance passes and catalogues, and also assists with any travel and accommodation arrangements.
