2013 SA Pub Burger Challenge
AHA|SA Hotel Members are now invited to enter the annual 2013 SA Pub Burger Challenge. Nine hotel finalists will cook-off at the SA Hotel & Restaurant Show at the Royal Adelaide Showground's on Monday 28 May for the title of "SA's Best Pub Burger" judged by an expert panel of food connisouers.
THE PRIZE
- The winning hotel in the Pub Burger Challenge will win;
- Rheningahaus Ham burger Press for the winning hotel valued at $469 donated by Meat & Livestock Australia
- A Victorinox knife for the winning Chef to the value of $200 donated by Reward Distribution
- A complimentary feature article in 'HOTEL SA' Magazine, promotion through 'InDaily' online news and a feature in 'TASTE' (The Advertiser)
- On-air radio promotion through 'FIVEaa' and 'Nova 91.9'
THE RULES
- The competition is open to AHA|SA Members only
- The burger must be available on your current hotel menu (as of 1 March 2013)
- The burger must be able to be purchased in all areas of the hotel
- Pattie must be Beef or Lamb and made on-site at the hotel. No commercial products allowed
- Burger must be presented in bun-style bread
- The burger must be priced at no more than $25 inc GST
HOW TO ENTER
Entry is free! Complete an entry form and submit with a colour photograph of your burger by Wednesday 24 April. All entries will be personally contacted by Friday 17 May to advise if they are finalists.
