Brisbane: Emporium Hotel appoints Executive Assistant Manager

Brisbane’s multi-award-winning Emporium Hotel has appointed Justin McConnell as Executive Assistant Manager. Bringing with him 17 years’ experience in Luxury Hotels across the Asia Pacific, Justin is a perfect fit for the famed boutique hotel, still celebrating taking the title of Best Luxury Accommodation at the recent Qantas Australian Tourism Awards.

Justin joins Emporium Hotel from the Sofitel Brisbane where he was the Director of Rooms. Prior to this he enjoyed a long and distinguished international career with the Hyatt Hotel Group, where he gained extensive management experience in both Food & Beverage and Rooms in Australia and internationally, at marquee Hyatt properties including the Grand Hyatt Bali, the Park Hyatt Sydney and the Hyatt Regency Auckland (images available on request).

Justin will work alongside Emporium Hotel General Manager Peter Savoff, who has led the esteemed hotel since before opening.

Emporium Hotel recently beat the very best luxury operators in the country to take the title of Best Luxury Accommodation in Australia at the recent Qantas Australian Tourism Awards. This award joins a plethora of others, including international titles, which recognise and celebrate the hotel’s excellent level of service, offer and design.
