Nominations open for top accommodation industry awards

Nominations are now open for the accommodation industry’s premier event – the 2013 TAA (NSW) Awards for Excellence, with accommodation hotels from across NSW vying for the coveted Overall Hotel of the Year awards.

More than 500 political, business and industry leaders will gather in the Grand Ballroom at the Westin, Sydney on 24 July 2013 to see the winners announced.

TAA (NSW) director Carol Giuseppi said the Awards for Excellence were recognised as the most prestigious hospitality awards in the sector, honouring achievement in a wide range of categories in the accommodation industry.

“These awards are open to all members of TAA (NSW),” Ms Giuseppi said.

“Each year the competition gets tougher as the quality of the services and facilities reaches even higher standards throughout the accommodation sector.

“These awards increase public awareness of the hotel industry throughout the State while at the same time recognising the achievements of the hardworking men and women who make up our industry. In fact, “people awards” are one of the most popular categories.”

The nominations forms must be completed and forwarded to the TAA (NSW) offices at Level 15, 131 Macquarie Street, Sydney 2000 by 5pm on Friday, 26 April 2013.
