Pub faces closure without buyer

A Wimmera pub could be set to close if a buyer is not found in the next two weeks.

The Brim Pub needs to be sold before next month or locals will be left without a watering hole.

The pub has been on the market for almost a year but has not attracted any potential buyers.

Publican Kathy Casey says local Lions Clubs and community groups from Warracknabeal often use the pub.

"The first recorded owner of this pub was 1886, so it's an old pub and [has] a lot of history," she said.
