McWilliam's Fortified Wines: product recall
The NSW Food Authority advises:
McWilliam’s Wine Group Limited is recalling some batches of its fortified wine, sold in Dan Murphy's, BWS, Woolworths Liquor, Liquor Land, First Choice, Vintage Cellars and independent liquor retail stores in NSW and interstate.
The batches are being recalled because of the possible presence of glass pieces.
The recalled products are:
- McWilliam's Cream Tawny in 2L clear glass flagon with lot codes L2104-57 and L2081-66
- McWilliam's Royal Reserve Tawny in 2L clear glass flagon with lot codes L2104-58 and L2081-41
- McWilliam's Cream Apera in 2L clear glass flagon with lot code L2103-47
- McWilliam's Royal Reserve Medium Dry in 2L clear glass flagon with lot code L2102-32
- McWilliam's Royal Reserve Sweet in 2L clear glass flagon with lot code L2102-33
- McWilliam's Royal Reserve Muscat in 2L clear glass flagon with lot code L2104-56
- McWilliam's Royal Reserve Dry in 2L clear glass flagon with lot code L2102-31
The recall applies only to the above products and lot codes.
Consumers should not consume the products. Consumers can return the products to the place of purchase for a refund.
