WA accommodation staff awarded for excellence and professionalism

The high standards of Western Australia’s accommodation hotels were acknowledged at the AHA 2013 Accommodation Industry Awards presented at the AHA held at Crown Perth on Monday night, 12th August 2013.

AHA(WA) CEO Bradley Woods, said the awards underline the importance of the accommodation hotels sector to WA and highlights the vital role accommodation properties play in building the State’s reputation as a tourist destination.

“Our accommodation hotels provide a home away from home for the high numbers of corporate guests working in the State and a base for the thousands of tourists from overseas and interstate that travel to Western Australia.

“Without the high standards of dedication and service being practiced at our accommodation hotels, visitors to the State would be left feeling less than satisfied.

“Being able to stay at a quality hotel that is dedicated to taking care of you, is a vital component of attracting people to WA for events and other tourism and entertainment activities.

“I would like to congratulate all of tonight’s winners.”
