Pickle producer picks itself up after closure fears

Spring Gully onionsSouth Australian jam and pickle maker Spring Gully says most of its suppliers are back on board after growing debt nearly closed down the company.

It has been just over four months since the South Australian business announced it could shut its doors because of growing debt.

Spring Gully came out of administration about a month ago.

Its managing director Kevin Webb says the business is now in a financially stable position and sales are strong.

"We're in a pleasing place with our supplier base," he said.

"We've now got 95 per cent of our supplier base back up and set up in the system and have worked through the conditions of the deed of company arrangement which is the agreement we made with creditors."
