Noosa Restaurant Recognised Again!

Noosa Boathouse is among Australia’s best in the Tourism Restaurant & Catering services, according to the Australian Tourism Awards judges last night in Adelaide.

Noosa Boathouse took home Bronze and was up against 6 other state finalists in their category ‘Tourism Restaurant & Catering Services’, after winning the Queensland Tourism Awards for the second year in a row in November last year.

Owners Phil Bradford, Danielle & Steve McPharlin are excited to have won Bronze and are very proud to be representing Queensland Tourism. Danielle said, “We were up against six of Australia’s best venues, and while the bronze means the world to our team, it is a testament to all the tourism services provided in Noosa,” she says.

An Australian Tourism Awards spokesperson says the Australian Tourism Awards are the tourism industry’s premier awards.

“For both the industry and the consumer an Australian Tourism Award is recognised as a mark of excellence in Australian tourism.”

Almost 1000 people, including over 180 Australian tourism business finalists attended the 30th Anniversary Awards Presentation dinner held at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Friday 10th April.

Noosa Boathouse adds this bronze to an extensive list of accolades, which includes winning Qld Tourism Awards Gold in 2013 and 2014, finalist in 2012 and 2011, in addition to the consistent finalist title for Australian Bridal Industry Academy awards in 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2014.
