For the love of photography and food: Shoot the Chef 2015

Shoot the Chef is Fairfax's annual competition that combines Australia's passion for food and photography.

The competition is open nationally as part of this year's Good Food Month.

Everyone is welcome to pick up their camera and tackle the challenge - whether it's your hobby, your field of study or your passion.

The brief is simple: shoot a chef (or your interpretation of one!). It can be a three-hat chef, your favourite short-order cook or just a talented kid in the kitchen.

The grand prize winner will receive:

The winner of the Nikon People's Choice Award will receive a $500 Nikon Store voucher.

The judging panel for Shoot the Chef 2015 includes:

  • Colin Fassnidge, chef of Four in Hand and 4Fourteen restaurants, and judge from My Kitchen Rules,
  • Ardyn Bernoth, Editor - Good Food,

  • Mags King, Sydney Photo Editor - The Sydney Morning Herald & The Sun-Herald.

Selected finalists will be exhibited at Laneways, part of Parramatta City Council's Good Food Month celebrations in October, and in Melbourne for Good Food Month in November.
