ATC Awarded 2015 Best Caterer at HOSTPLUS Awards
The Australian Turf Club (ATC) has been awarded ‘Best Caterer for a Major Event NSW’ at the Savour Australia Restaurant & Catering HOSTPLUS Awards for Excellence last night.
Held at the Dockside Pavilion in Darling Harbour Sydney, the Awards for Excellence gala dinner attracted over 750 guests recognising regional and metropolitan operators across the state that provide exceptional service, demonstrate culinary excellence, and deliver great ambience and value for money.
The six major award categories included Sydney Metropolitan Restaurant Awards, Regional NSW Restaurant Awards, NSW Restaurant Awards, Sydney Metropolitan Catering Awards, Regional NSW Catering Awards and Overall Major Awards.
The ATC was awarded the Best Caterer for a Major Event NSW in recognition of one of its signature events, The Championships held at Royal Randwick in April 2015, which attracted thousands of national and international guests.
The ATC’s General Manager Function & Event Sales, Jimmy Busteed, said: “Our team continually strives to provide the highest quality catering and service across our 40 unique hospitality offerings, within our four venues. This title is a reward for our hard work but also an inspiration to continue as leaders in our field.”
The ATC is now in the running for the Australia-wide title at the national Awards for Excellence held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on Monday 26 October. Last night’s success comes off the back of ATC’s previous title of ‘Best NSW Function/Convention Centre Caterer’ 2014.
