Cold-blooded thieves steal cancer charity tin

Police are looking for heartless thieves who allegedly stole charity tins from a Western Australian pub.

Security footage from The Chase Bar and Bistro located in Baldivis shows a woman last week taking a charity tin that contained about $500 raised to fight cancer from a counter.

Sharon Ketley is a chef at the sports bar and lost her mother-in-law to cancer.

Ms Ketley's mother is also one of several people in her family who have lived with the disease.

“I just think it's horrible people steal so much money,” she told Seven News.

Just one month earlier a different charity tin was taken from the same spot - the culprit was also female.

“It just makes it worse for me because it is women that have stolen both tins, and what we are raising money for is, women’s cancer," Ms Ketley claims.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
