The popular Cuban-Australian restaurant chain is launching its rebrand at its Top-Ryde City restaurant

Cuban-Australian restaurant chain Coco Cubano has introduced a nationwide rebranding at the popular chain’s Top Ryde City store.

The idea for the rebrand is ‘Endless summer with a Cuban twist’, which will introduce design, menu and bar changes across Coco’s 13 stores that are inspired by Cuba’s warm, tropical feel.

“It is a clear evolution for the brand,” said Founder Tony Melhem.

“Our aim was to really enhance the overall guest experience by keeping the menu fresh, fun and cool while also recreating the endless summer of the Cuban experience.”

The new menu and concept has been shaped in collaboration with Nik Rollison of restaurant consultant company Concreteseed alongside consulting Chef John Lanzafame and bar menu consultant Grant Collins.

“The decision for the rebrand was made six months ago,” said Melhem, “and it’s been three to four months of hard work to make sure we get it out in time for Christmas and the festive season.”

“We’ve introduced a lot more abundance in the menu,” Melhem said.

“We’re introducing larger meals, larger share plates and more flavour which allows us to push the experience of the endless Cuban summer.”

Coco Cubano will launch its new rebrand at the Top Ryde City restaurant on Wednesday December 2 before a nationwide release on Tuesday December 8.
