Collingwood's Mjr Tom launches new dinner menu

Mjr Tom has today launched its new dinner menu, including tapas-style sharing plates and a new cocktail list to compliment the dishes.

After a thriving first six months of business, Mjr Tom’s new Latin-inspired dinner menu features dishes made with fresh, seasonal ingredients such as the lightly fried calamari with squid ink alioli and chorizo crumb, and the kingfish ceviche with avocado, chilli curls, and olive salt.

Mjr Tom also runs a couple of weekly nights to get you through the week. Wednesday night is Taco Night where you get two of their famous fish tacos and a frozen margarita for $22, and on F.A.T.W (Forget About The Week) Fridays between 5pm and 7pm expect half-price cocktails, spirits, wine
glasses and beers.

Following the success of their New Year’s Day and Boxing Day street BBQ, Mjr Tom will be hosting regular BBQ’s with one scheduled for Australia Day. “Our street BBQ will serve up home-style dishes and have that all invited feel, like you’re rocking up to someone’s house for lunch,” says Tiktikakis.

For those wondering, Mjr Tom’s generous opening hours will remain the same. “We’re one of the only venues to open everyday from 8am till late. We have regulars coming in for their morning coffees, quick bite for lunch and drinks in the evenings. Our door is always open. And that’s what they love.”
Mjr Tom’s Queen Victoria Night Market stall will also be running until Wednesday 30 March. “The Night Markets set a great atmosphere for people to enjoy our food. We’re currently looking at having a stall at the Winter Night Markets too”, says Tiktikakis.

Mjr Tom is located at 108 Smith Street, Collingwood, 3066 and open everyday from 8am till late.
