New restaurants at Jupiter’s

It’s all happening at Jupiter’s on the Gold Coast with the unveiling of the new-look Atrium Bar and two new restaurants.

It’s all part of the venue’s $345 million refurbishment and rejuvenation.

The Atrium Bar opened ahead of schedule on Friday.

It now offers an expanded range of boutique and craft beers from Burleigh Brewing Company, Brisbane’s Fortitude Brewing Co. and Newstead Brewing Company.

And customers will also get bottled wine service and have the opportunity to buy premium spirits. It also offers entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights.

After its big opening, the Atrium opened again from 4pm on Saturday before commencing normal trading hours this week.

In addition to that, there are two new ground-floor food outlets — Mei Wei Dumplings and M & G Café and Bar.

They will be there alongside Jupiter’s award-winning Japanese restaurant Kiyomi, Italian eatery Cucina Vivo and breakfast, lunch and dinner favourite the Garden Kitchen & Bar.

They opened last Friday.

The idea is to create a new space for deluxe dumplings and gourmet cafe-style food.

General manager of food and beverage Richard Gush said the new eateries would fill a gap in the market while providing quick, friendly and seamless food service.

“Everything on the menu in Mei Wei Dumplings will be made fresh on-site daily, including all of the pastry,” Gush told the Gold Coast Bulletin.

“The cooking process is also lively and interactive, with guests invited to watch our team of experienced dumpling chefs through a 2.6m viewing panel in the restaurant as they create daily specials and other menu items.

“It’s a great way for us to showcase the precision and skill that goes into our dishes.”

“We were looking to create a venue that delivered classic cafe comfort food with a modern Australian spin.

“A place that our guests will enjoy and come back to time and time again, whether it’s for a coffee, lunch or to sit at the bar and wind down with our amazing range of wine on tap or one of our classic cocktails.”
