Larmont Sydney opens its doors

Larmont Sydney, Lancemore’s five star boutique hotel is now officially open for business.

It’s been a while coming since the owners lodged plans  with the CIty of Sydney Council back in January 2016 to convert the building and create new hotel accommodation.

The hotel is a 103 key property set across seven floors.

Significantly, it is the family owned company’s first CBD location.

Lancemore Group CEO Julian Clark said King’s Cross location of the five star boutique hotel was critical.

“We selected the site because its location allows you to live amongst Sydney’s most privileged locals and still be a short walk from the CBD. You get the best of both worlds with spectacular city and harbour views,” Clark told Hotel Management.

“We wanted Larmont Sydney to speak to the Sydney boutique hotel scene yet remain true to the Lancemore ethos that focuses on prioritizing guest’s needs.”

Clark has put in a lot of research to ensure the luxurious boutique hotel has the best amenities.

He had spent the last decade visiting 100 of the world’s most luxurious boutique properties across 20 countries to see how they did it.

The result:  a mini-bar stocked with Dom Perignon, a choice of luxe spa products and a private balcony for guests to relax on with their pets. And yes, the Larmont is pet friendly.

The rooms have luxury finishes including marble benchtops, leather bed heads, a free-standing bath and even a separate rain shower.

Also, they come outfitted with with state-of-the-art technology including a Samsung 55” Smart TV, Apple TV with Netflix, Bose Sound Touch speakers and USB Ports.

And guests get full access to yoga and pilates studios Body Mind Life and 24 hour access to neighbouring Anytime Fitness.

The focus at the Larmont is on wellness and vitality.

“The days of all form and no substance are pretty much over,” Clark told guests at last week’s official opening.  “We’re anti-chain and pro personality.”
