Emporium Hotel South Bank opens new rooftop bar

Brisbane luxury boutique Emporium Hotel South Bank has unveiled its new rooftop bar and dining venue, The Terrace.

The Terrace is now open to the Hotel’s guests, and will be open to the public from October 3, 6:30am till late, seven days a week.

The only publicly available rooftop bar in the South Bank precinct, The Terrace offers panoramic views across the Brisbane River to the city skyline and beyond.

“The Terrace is a phenomenal addition to the city’s lifestyle and tourism offering,” said hotel spokesperson Charles Martin.

“This is ultimate subtropical urban luxe, usually only found in major international cities. We have capitalised on our unbeatable climate and location in the city’s premier lifestyle precinct and built a completely bespoke venue from floor to ceiling that is distinctly Emporium.”

An extensive drinks menu features classic and signature cocktails to a wide range of premium local and international wines and spirits.  An all-day dining menu, created by executive chef Chris Norman, caters for breakfast through to substantial plates and late night snacks.

“You only have to take one step into this incredible space to be immediately inspired, from the beautiful colour palette to the open-air ceiling and incredible views that reach all the way out to the sand dunes of Moreton Island,” said Norman.

“With this in mind, I have created a complimentary menu that showcases fresh, locally sourced produce and flavours with a particular emphasis on seafood, the absolute best Queensland has to offer.”
