Rick Stein opens Bannisters Port Stephens

Following the success of his south coast, Mollymook location, Rick Stein’s signature restaurant has arrived in Port Stephens.

Stein has opened his signature seafood restaurant at the newly launched boutique hotel Bannisters Port Stephens. Rick Stein at Bannisters by Sarah and Rick Stein will offer guests lunch, dinner and drinks with a seafood-focused menu created with head chef Mitchell Turner. There is also The Terrace Bar, which is described as a family friendly pub with live music, sports and a beer garden.

The couple also worked with Brokenwood Wines chief winemaker Iain Riggs from to create a unique wine for the restaurant.

The restaurant has been designed by Romy Alwill, who has created a space inspired by earth and sea that features water-coloured Japanese wallpaper along with hints of Rick’s signature blue.
