Bavarian brand expands in Qld and SA

The Rockpool Dining Group has kicked off Oktoberfest with news it is opening two new venues under its successful Bavarian brand.

The Bavarian in Westfield Coomera opens today, offering 320 seats, including a 140-seat al fresco dining area. Coomera is Rockpool’s seventh venue in Queensland, sitting alongside The Bavarians at Broadbeach, Westfield Chermside, Eagle Street Pier and Toowoomba, The Bavarian Beerhaus at Bowen Hills and Munich Brauhaus in Southbank.

The Group is also set to bring the Brauhaus brand to Adelaide, with it’s a venue set to open later this year at Wetherill Park.

The Bavarian in Coomera is opening with a bang, with 500 free hotdogs from 11am for the first to arrive on Friday. Other activities are planned for the weekend including live music and competitions.

Alongside the gourmet offering which includes crispy pork knuckle, crackling pork belly, classic German and gourmet sausages and schnitzels are 17 biers comprising a mix of Bavarian favourites (Lowenbrau, Franziskaner, Stiegl, Hofbrau) as well as local and regional craft brews, and Urban Craft Brewing Co house range.
