Hog's Breath Cafe calls on public over dine and dash trio

A restaurant owner in Perth is looking for the public's help to track down three customers who allegedly skipped out without paying a $200 bill.

Desmond Francois says the incident last week was the first of three separate dine and dashes within a week at the Hog's Breath Cafe in Morley.

The restaurant posted CCTV images on social media of the three patrons who are alleged to be involved in the October 15 incident at around 12.15pm.

“Hey all Hoggie people out there! We need your help in identifying these thieves who walked out of Hog's Morley without paying for their meals and drinks leaving a $200 tab,” the Facebook post read. “The authorities have been contacted but any help in identifying them is greatly appreciated.”

Speaking to news.com.au, Francois said the three patrons ordered starters, mains, desserts and several rounds of drinks.

“The most upsetting part is while they were in the restaurant I was out there on multiple occasions chatting about how their week had been and having a good time with them,” he said.

“They ordered food, more drinks and then dessert and as they ordered, they said they were just going out for a quick smoke and that they'd be straight back.”

Francois has contacted police regarding the recent thefts. “I ’m not letting this die down. I want justice or the money back, or both,” he said.
