WA Good Food Guide winners announced
The winners of the 2018 West Australian Good Food Guide have been announced.
Wills Domain, a family-owned vineyard restaurant at Yallingup helmed by chef Seth James, has been named WA’s Restaurant of the Year.
The award for Best Regional Restaurant went to Margaret River region winery Voyager Estate, while the restaurant’s chef, Santiago Fernandez, was named Regional Chef of the Year.
Newcomer Tiny’s Bar had a bumper night winning the Best Bar Dining Award. Tiny’s owners Paul Aron and Michael Forde also took home the Hospitality Operators Award, while Tiny’s bartender Emma Crisp won the Breakthrough Talent Award.
Best new restaurant went to Santini Bar & Grill at the newly opened QT Perth. WA’s Chef of the Year Award went to Jed Gerrard of Wildflower, at Perth’s Como Hotel.
