Justin North behind new Ovolo The Valley restaurant
Ovolo The Valley has officially launched in Fortitude Valley, marking the second Queensland hotel to fall under the design-led hotel group, following the opening of Ovolo Inchcolm earlier this year.
Ovolo The Valley features 103 accommodation rooms, a meeting room named, ‘B.I.G’, in addition to a rooftop swimming pool looking over Fortitude Valley.
Guests have the opportunity to select from five unique styles of rooms. “Our brief to Woods Bagot was that each of our hotels must have their own unique personality and style, inspired by local surrounds, culture, heritage and Ovolo’s playful, forward-thinking spirit, and they’ve delivered exactly that,” said founder and CEO of the Ovolo Group, Girish Jhunjhnuwala.
“There is an element of fantasy, escapism and play in Ovolo The Valley. We’re positioning it as the perfect contemporary oasis to escape our busy urban lives.”
A new restaurant and bar concept is due to launch at Ovolo The Valley in early 2019 under the eye of chef and restauranteur Justin North.
