Nigella Lawson picks Bondi’s Icebergs as her fave

UK cooking star Nigella Lawson has named Bondi’s Icebergs Dining Room and Bar as her “favourite restaurant in the whole wide world”.

She made the announcement on Instagram after dining there last Thursday. “There’s no view quite like it,” she stated in the post, which also included some of her favourite dishes such as the “wonderful kingfish sashimi”, Sydney rock oysters and gamberetti.

Icebergs owner Maurice Terzini told Broadsheet they were “very happy with that”.

“She comes in all the time and has said that to us before, but to put it down on Instagram was pretty epic,” he said.

The restaurant replied to her Instagram post by saying, “We are so pleased to hear you enjoyed your experience with us today and we look forward to having you back again soon @nigellalawson! Thank you for sharing.”
