New 4-star hotel planned for Blacktown

Plans for a new $174 million hotel in western Sydney have been lodged with Blacktown City Council.

If approved, the hotel would mark Blacktown’s first four star hotel in the CBD, comprising 270 hotel rooms and 110 serviced apartments.

GLP Development is currently in talks with an international hotel operator to manage the hotel if the plans proceed.

GLP has partnered with architecture firm Jackson Teece and town planners Mecone to work closely with council. The proposed hotel development is expected to be constructed between late 2022 and early 2023.
