QT Adelaide to open in 2021

Adelaide will welcome a new QT hotel marking the brand’s debut in South Australia.

Event Hospitality & Entertainment Limited has signed a management agreement for a QT hotel at 62 Currie Street.

QT Adelaide will offer the usual design led focus with signature dining concepts and a rooftop bar.

The $180 million mixed use development will feature 200 guest rooms and extensive conferencing and events facilities, along with 10 levels of office space.

“We are excited to bring South Australia its very first QT Hotel, a key Australian market that has been a missing piece of our portfolio,” said EVENT CEO Jane Hastings.

“Our new partnership with Auspac Networks Pty Ltd and Axiom Properties Limited will ensure a QT experience that will be a transformative project for the city of Adelaide.”

Construction is likely to begin by the end of 2019 with an opening date in 2021. Other QT hotels in the pipeline include QT Auckland set to open in 2020, followed by QT Parramatta in 2021.
