Gosford venue part of ‘food revolution’

Bells at Killcare owner Brian Barry and his wife Karina have teamed up with executive chef Sean Connolly to run the bar and restaurant on the ground floor of John Singleton’s Bonython Tower on the Central Coast.

Set to open next month, The Bon Pavilion will include a “number of things happening under the one roof”, Barry told the Daily Telegraph.

“There are new establishments opening in Gosford, indication there is a change on the way. Gosford is back,” he said.

“It’s cafe in the morning, restaurant from lunch on and bar happening all the while.”

Barry said the Central Coast was going through a “food revolution”, adding he was “pleased to be part of John’s vision for Gosford”.

“With Sean involved, it will be understated on the menu but when it arrives it will be simple and exceptional,” he said.

“The whole place will be outstanding, when people walk in they will stand still. There’s nothing like it, it’s incredibly stylish.”
