Sydney Showground scoops NSW ‘Banqueting & Catering’ Award
Sydney Showground (SS) has won the State ‘Banqueting & Catering’ Award at the 2018 Meeting and Events Australia (MEA) NSW Award Night.
Over the qualifying period, the Sydney Showground event team successfully catered 295 events, hosting over 1,700,000 guests. Clients ranged from exhibition organisations, professional conferences to large corporate events.
“Our team really go above and beyond, not only for clients but for each other, we work together when faced with challenges and always aim to create innovative customer-focused solutions,” said Sydney Showground’s head of sales, Andrew Roberts.
“To be recognised as the best in the state for what you do really makes it all worth it, we thank the MEA NSW program and look forward to representing NSW as a National Finalist.”
As a State Winner, Sydney Showground will now go on to compete against other states in its category which will be announced and presented at the National Awards Dinner on 2 April at the final night of the MEA Conference.
