Melbourne laneway hotel project up for sale
Property firm Aust Global Investments (AGI) is looking offload a small plot of land in a Melbourne laneway that has a permit for a 14-storey, 44-room hotel.
AGI has appointed LSV Hotels’ Michelle Matthews to sell the 150sqm site on Bennetts Lane, once home to a well-known jazz club with the laneway’s name.
AGI was seeking offers around $25 million for the completed turnkey hotel, handed to a new owner with vacant possession, or about $10 million for the development-ready site.
The site last changed hands in 2016 for $2.3 million
