Sydney fine diner The Bridge Room to close

Hospitality duo Ross and Sunny Lusted are to close their Sydney fine diner The Bridge Room in April to focus on a new venture.

“The Bridge Room has been a true labour of love and we feel so honoured to have connected deeply with our diners,” said Sunny Lusted. “We have been blessed with so many loyal guests that have dined with us regularly throughout the years and an incredible team who have contributed to the fabric of what The Bridge Room is.

“We can’t thank Leon and the whole Fink Family enough for their incredible support, collaboration and love during our partnership.

“We will always consider the Finks our extended family and wish them the greatest success for the future. We look forward to seeing all our wonderful diners who have supported us over the last eight years and having a toast with them to the next chapter.”

Leon Fink, chairman of the Fink Group, said they were extremely proud of what Sunny and Ross have achieved over the last eight years.

“We couldn’t be more excited for them as they embark on their next project and we wish them all the best,” he said.

The Bridge Room’s last service will be on Saturday 27 April. Although the couple are remaining tight lipped on where their next venture will be, there is speculation they may be lining up a new restaurant at James Packer’s Barangaroo luxury gaming and accommodation precinct that is still under construction.
