Marco Pierre White to headline Melbourne’s Good Food Month
Marco Pierre White will headline Melbourne’s Good Food Month this June, along with a line-up of local chefs including Andrew McConnell, Phil Wood, Matt Stone, Paul Iskov and Joel Valvasori-Pereza.
South Melbourne warehouse space Canvas House is hosting Good Food Month’s series of events starting with An Evening with Marco Pierre White on June 5, which will see Phil Wood (Pt Leo Estate and Laura) take on Pierre White’s classics and create them as his own.
The Young Chefs Lunch with Marco Pierre White will see him mentor Melbourne’s youngest culinary talent as they showcase their skills. On June 9 Pierre White will then team up with Andrew McConnell to present their version of a Sunday roast.
“After last year’s custom-built, pop-up restaurant in the heart of Federation Square, we are excited to evolve our program and launch our new home for the 2019 event series,” said Venessa Cowell, director of Food Events, Fairfax.
