The Bavarian Wollongong set to open next month
Wollongong will welcome Rockpool Dining Group’s latest Bavarian restaurant when it opens its doors next month.
Joining the dining precinct on Keira Street, The Bavarian Wollongong is looking to fill 45 key positions including restaurant managers and assistant managers, chefs, cooks and casual waitstaff.
“Most of the employees at The Bavarian Wollongong will be locals, with a few managers who are experienced with the group travelling from other suburbs to help the local team settle in,” said Rockpool Dining Group CEO Thomas Pash.
The Bavarian Wollongong will seat 400 and will occupy the former Max Brenner site of the corner of Keira and Crown Streets.
Pash said the group was also scoping a site in Wollongong for its El Camino Cantina brand.
“We’re always looking for new locations for our expanding portfolio of casual restaurants,” he said.
