Restaurateur Maurice Terzini and Icebergs Dining Room and Bar present the Victor Churchill Showcase Dinner hosted by Executive Chef Monty Koludrovic and Anthony Puharich on Wednesday 26th June. 

Established in 1876, Victor Churchill is Australia’s oldest continually run butcher shop, dating back to the Churchill family and after which the store draws half its name. The other half belongs to Victor Puharich, a fourth-generation butcher who emigrated to Australia from Croatia in the 1970s. 

In 2009, his son Anthony opened Victor Churchill Fine Family Butcher, Queens Street, Woolhara, Sydney as a gift to his father. Ultimately, tradition and family history define this boutique butchery. A family of butchers and chefs handpick each product and producer to ensure the quality is unparalleled. There is theatre, luxury, and indulgence but above all there is dedication. Dedication to the craft of butchery.

Monty Koludrovic and Anthony Puharich have worked together to create a menu that reflects their friendship and love of food. This one-off dinner is an opportunity to bring together two iconic Sydney establishments showcasing only the best selections of meat by Victor Churchill, all exquisitely prepared by Monty and the team at Icebergs. This five course menu is a meat lover’s dream commencing with the Gnocchi Fritti with Prosciutto, Eggplant & Duck Liver Pate on Toast, a selection of Victor Churchill Charcuterie with Bread, Grissini, Pickles & Cheese, followed by the Kurobuta Pork Ragu, Orecchiette & Smoked Tomato, the headline attraction is a Sirloin Tasting plate of O’Connor Grass Fed, Rangers Valley Grain Fed and David Blackmore Full Blood Wagyu served with classic condiments and finishing with a Crème Caramel & Meyer Lemon & Olive Oil Gelato.
