WA café hunts down veggie thief through Facebook

The Crooked Carrot café in the small WA town of Myalup has taken to social media to track down a customer who allegedly stole vegetables from their kitchen garden.

The café posted images taken from security footage showing a woman walking out with her arms full of the produce the cafe uses to make fresh food and drinks.

“We have a huge amount of empathy & are very generous people but this action has cost us in monetary value, tireless hours of work & our customers now can’t enjoy the garden as much,” the Facebook post read.

“I totally understand life isn’t always grand but there’s still right from wrong & a little respect goes a long way.”

The Facebook post has been shared over 500 times, and the incident has been reported to police and is currently under investigation.
