Innaloo pub Botanica calls time
Yet another Perth venue is calling time, with Botanica Bar & Bistro to close its doors at the end of the month.
Located in Perth’s northern suburbs, the Botanica has been a successful large format pub with a strong food and beverage offering, a choice of bars and a large outdoor area and function space.
Built in 1962, it was formerly known as the Old Nookenburra Hotel before current owners of the lease took over and rebranded to Botanica in 2008.
Michael Cutler, who joined the business last year, said the Liquor Barn bottleshop will continue to trade, although no reason was given for the sudden closure.
Perth’s hospitality scene has taken a bruising following the end of the mining boom and the following economic downturn.
