Perth’s Carillon City to make way for $200m mixed use development

Perth is set to welcome a new $200 million mixed development in the heart of the CBD.

The Carillon Development Planning Report application includes a six-level flagship retail, hospitality and entertainment centre. The proposal has been brought by Dexus Wholesale Property Limited.

“Emerging from the site will be the most significant investment in the CBD retail core for a generation – a six-level flagship retail, hospitality and entertainment centre,” the report stated.

“The Carillon redevelopment is a true mixed-use proposal that represents the CBD’s best chance of reversing its continuing and accelerating slide from its long-standing position as the primary retail destination in Perth and WA.”

The application includes plans for a pedestrian bridge, flagship retailers, a tavern, a bowling alley, a tertiary education floor, an e-games studio and a cinema complex.
