ACME chef Mitch Orr heads to Bondi for new role

Chef Mitch Orr has headed to the kitchen of restaurateur Maurice Terzini’s Bondi eatery Da Orazio only one week after Orr closed his own restaurant ACME.

The new kitchen appointment comes as Terzini confirmed Da Orazio will get a makeover and a new name in coming months.

It will continue to trade in the short term as Da Orazio before relaunching as Ciccia Bella, where it will continue to serve pizza, but with more of a pruned offering.

Orr has made a reputation for innovative pasta dishes at ACME but is expected to focus more toward the classics in his new role.
