The Langham, Gold Coast set to launch seven new drink and dining venues

The Langham, Gold Coast will be marked by seven new drink and dining venues and three highly sought-after chefs.

The hotel, which has beachfront position in Jewel on the Gold Coast, is set to launch on 23 June

The chefs that will be making a new mark include Craig Robertson, David Vandenabeele, Ryan Stevenson.

Robertson is executive chef at the hotel and will be joined by executive sous chef David Vandenabeele and executive pastry chef, Ryan Stevenson.

“The food and beverage offering will be unparalleled and will offer a new level of luxury in the area,” Roberston said.

“I am excited to be working with a strong executive team with David and Ryan, and we look forward to inviting out first guests in just a few short weeks.”

The dining experiences will include all-day seafood restaurant Akoya, defined as “refined-casual” and will offer a seafood buffet Thursday to Saturday nights and a champagne brunch on Sundays.

Reservations for Akoya are already open.

The hotel’s party spot will be open-air terrace bar Coral Moon (designed by award-winning Australian firm Studio Aria), which promises “innovative cocktails”, while the hotel’s casual diner 26 & Sunny, holds prime position on the dunes.

Lobby Bar will provide light meals and drinks, a relaxed atmosphere along with Langham’s signature afternoon tea.

Overlooking Jewel’s beachfront swim-up Pool Bar will be pastry specialist Palm Court.

The Langham’s signature T’ang Court Cantonese restaurant, sister of its Michelin-starred restaurants in Hong Kong and Shanghai, is another highlight.

The Executive Chef team is now building out its full team and offering across all Langham venues.
