Shire in dark about fast-food restaurant
The Shire of Augusta-Margaret River says it does not know what fast-food restaurant it has approved for the town.
The council approved a proposal for a 32-seat restaurant, at its meeting this week, but has not been privy to details of what it will be.
A shire spokeswoman says it may not know what the fast-food restaurant will be until signage is submitted for approval.
She says the approval has a two-year initiation period in which work must begin.
The greater Woolworths development is due to be complete by Easter next year.
