Product Recall: Deli Originals Mediterranean Style Spinach Dip

The NSW Food Authority advises:

Yumis Quality Foods has recalled a batch of its Deli Originals Mediterranean Style Spinach Dip product sold in NSW and VIC in Aldi supermarkets.

The product may be contaiminated with Listeria monocytogenes, which is a bacteria that can be particularly harmful for pregnant women, people of older age and people with compromised immune systems.

The recalled product is:

• Deli Originals Mediterranean Style Spinach Dip, in 200g plastic tub with lid and foil peel away cover, with a ‘use by’ date of 22/01/14.

The recall only applies to product with the above details.

Consumers, especially pregnant women, people of older age and people with compromised immune systems, should not consume this product.

Consumers can return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
