Supermarket found guilty of selling out-of-date products

he Horsham Magistrates Court has fined a Warracknabeal supermarket $12,000 without conviction for selling out-of-date products.

Fishers IGA was taken to court last week by the Yarriambiack Shire, charged with three counts of selling out-of-date products between November 2012 and October 2013.

The court found the supermarket guilty and fined it $12,000 without conviction and ordered it to pay $40,000 in costs to the shire.

Fishers has until January to appeal against the ruling.
