Only one week until Hotels Have Hearts

The New South Wales hotel industry’s gala charity night will take place next Wednesday at Sydney’s Hilton and for the first time silent auctions have already begun.

New South Wales hotels have to date raised over $2.4 million in support of the St Vincent de Paul Society’s Homeless Service with the Hotels Have Hearts (HHH) black tie dinner, which is conducted every two years.

“We are all anticipating a tougher year with the new [licensing] laws, but there are people out there that have nowhere to put their kids to bed at night – and that is unacceptable,” said HHH committee chairperson Kim Maloney.

“Year after year we continue to demonstrate that hotels do indeed have great big hearts, and that as an industry we are making great inroads with our partner Vinnies – and have much of which to be proud."

This year’s event is predicted to be bigger than ever, with an amazing array of live and silent auction items, a giant raffle, table draw, treasure chest and champagne bar “with a twist”.

And for the first time, silent auction items can be viewed and bidded upon ahead of the night by clicking here or texting “hearts” + your name (eg. Hearts John Smith) to 0458 678 678.

Tickets are still available for the big event on May 7 – click here to book or email Vinnies directly. $210 per person, or $2050 per table of 10.
