Choice Hotels renews PGA partnership
Choice Hotels Australasia (Choice Hotels) has renewed its sponsorship deal with the PGA of Australia to continue in its role as exclusive naming rights partner of the PGA Pro-Am Series until April 2016.
The 2014 Choice Hotels PGA Pro-Am Series will run from 1 May 2014 to 30 April 2015 with over 200 events scheduled to run across golf courses nationwide.
An estimated 40,000 entrants are expected to participate alongside 2,500 of Australia’s top Professional golfers in the Choice Hotels PGA Pro-Am Series.
The partnership renewal will enable Choice Hotels to continue to provide exclusive accommodation offers to the Australian golf community and forms an integral part of the Choice Hotels sports sponsorship portfolio which also includes the Choice Sports program, providing discounted accommodation and commission to sports organisations such as Little Athletics Australia, Bowls Victoria, Tennis ACT and many more.
Ardent golfer and Choice Hotels Australasia Chief Executive Officer, Trent Fraser, said he was delighted to announce the two year extension of the Choice Hotels PGA Pro-Am Series partnership.
“We’re pleased to renew our sponsorship of the PGA Pro-Am Series. 2013 proved to be very successful with PGA Professionals across the country utilising exclusive accommodation deals at our extensive network of 230 properties. We hope the series goes from strength to strength and we look forward to accommodating Australia’s best and brightest golfers as the sport increases in popularity,” said Fraser.

As part of this year’s PGA partnership, golf enthusiasts across the country also have the opportunity to enter a draw to win the golf trip of a lifetime to play at the World Cup golf course in Mission Hills, Shenzhen, China.
