Menzies opens new-look ballroom

Australian hotel the 446-key Menzies Sydney has re-opened its new look ‘Australia Ballroom’ in a glitzy affair with 200 corporate clients.

With capacity for up to 500 guests, the Ballroom boasts new carpeting, paintwork, furniture and lighting, but still retains touches such as chandeliers.

The six-week refurbishment also saw the installation of Fairchild’s ‘SeeMe Now’ e-concierge tablet. Event organisers can now easily and quickly communicate requirements to hotel staff for AV equipment, air-conditioning and lighting settings or make other requests.

The Menzies Sydney is the latest Accor hotel in Sydney to install the ‘SeeMe Now’ e-concierge tablet.

With 15 flexible functions rooms, The Menzies Sydney can cater for conference and events from 20 up to 500 people, catering to exhibitions, product launches and corporate meetings.
