Clubs NSW Chef's Table 2015 Finalists
Chef’s Table was created by ClubsNSW to award and recognise the many talented chefs, cooks and apprentices in NSW clubs. It provides a unique opportunity to challenge your kitchen team and showcase your club’s dining venue and chefs’ culinary talents.
The Judges
Head Chef Julio Azzarello, who will be judging the competition for the ninth consecutive year, has been in the hospitality industry for 30 years. He’s spent the past 13 years as an Executive Chef of multi-outlet hotels and restaurants, was a Chef Lecturer at Le Cordon Bleu Sydney for more than three years and is a nationally accredited Culinary Judge. Julio’s always on the lookout for flavour, consistency and presentation. Adam Moore brings his passion and vast experience in Australian and Asian cuisine to the Chef’s Table Competition. Currently the Executive Chef, Australia and New Zealand for Cerebos, Adam has over 18 years of experience as a chef and along the way has developed expertise in pastry, charcuterie, and butchery. After 10 years of working as a barmaid in a Sydney Bowling Club, Courtney Roulston was discovered on Series Two of Masterchef on Channel 10. She’s now an in-demand guest chef, regularly cooking for the Sydney Swans and ‘Mornings’ on Channel 9. She also shares her food experiences through social media and has two new cookbooks launching this month.
Social Media Marketing and Chef’s Table
In 2015 the Chef’s Table competition will be taken to a new audience and a new level with the introduction of a social media marketing campaign. New judge Courtney Roulston will blog from each of the 16 finalist venues throughout May and June. Follow Your Local Club on Facebook and Twitter, and @courtneyroulston on Instagram for some good ideas on how to target food to promote your club and to see the Finalist Series of Chef’s Table unfold in May and June.
