Gunman threatens Bindoon hotel staff

Detectives are investigating after a gunman threatened staff at a Bindoon hotel late on Monday night. 

WA Police spokeswoman Barbara Crane said the man entered the Great Northern Highway hotel with a firearm about 11.25pm, threatening a staff member for cash and then fleeing with a dark-coloured V8 sedan. 

No one was hurt. 

The man is described as fair-skinned, about 185 centimetres tall and of medium build.
