Flynn MFS responds to fire in basement of iconic Botanic Bar
FIRE crews have extinguished a fire in the basement of an iconic Adelaide pub.
The Metropolitan Fire Service had to force entry into the Botanic Bar, on the corner of East and North Tce after smoke was seen coming from the basement about 3pm.
Four appliances responded to the fire, which was in an air conditioning unit.
An MFS spokesman said the fire was quickly extinguished and did not spread to other parts of the building.
East Tce — between North Tce and Rundle St — was closed while crews fought the blaze.
No one was injured during the incident.
